F.E. Warren Air Force Base – located about 3 miles (4.8 km) west of Cheyenne, Wyoming. It is 1 of 3 strategic missile bases in the US. Named after Francis E. Warren.  Home of the 90th Missile Wing (90 MW), part of the Twentieth Air Force, Air Force Global Strike Command. The oldest continuously active military installation in the Air Force, established by the US Army as Ft. David Allen Russell in 1867.
