Philippines and U.S. need to reestablish Space -A MAC Flights to P.I. There are many of us Retirees and other qualified personnel that would love to make use of this benefit. To visit Family and Friends, etc. The President needs to remove the restrictions imposed by the Philippine AF at Clark Field as well as making it easier to fly into Cubi/Subic.
Agreed. From my understanding, one of the big things is that the area with the pax terminal is is now a restricted area. Simply solution would be to move the terminal out of the area. I suggest to the Clark Airport building. They seemed to have plenty of room the last time I was there. I’m afraid we will have to wait and I have my doubts they will ever reinstate it. With more and more US presence in the area though, it could happen.
FYI: Today I saw a flight from Hickam to Subic Bay. The flight is for 5 August (today). Flight also going to Guam. I’m not sure if they were taking passengers but it seems they would not have listed it unless they were or if the passengers could only go as far as Guam.
Well just like the rest of the Philippines, they have taxis, buses, shuttles and flights to get you there. Of course avoiding rush hour in the Manila area is a great idea, because it is really, really bad traffic at that time. Taking a bus is the least expensive. From Clark to Pasay is only like P120 per person and it’s about a 2 hour drive, if not at rush hour.
I found out something already. The person that was running the website died a few months ago. I guess no one has taken it over yet. I’m not sure at this time if there will be anyone either. Will keep checking. I found out this information on their Facebook page which still seems to be active at this time. https://www.facebook.com/groups/117240218366590/. And there is RAO Clark’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/rao.clark.

As of October 2018 and still current, Space-A travel has been restricted at Clark due to a Philippine Air Force directive disallowing base access. Keep checking to see when this restriction is lifted.
Correct. Although, the last I heard, incoming flights were still authorized because you do not need to go to the restricted area in Air Force City where Haribon Terminal is located. You will go straight to Immigration at Clark International Airport. I mean how can they restrict you from going to an international airport?
I’m wondering why, after all this time, the Philippine Air Force all of a sudden decided that access be denied to that area? Did they get something new and secret? Did a visitor cause a problem? There must have been some logic behind the decision.
There might be from a particular base, but they don’t advertise it. I don’t see too many flights to Clark these days since they have restricted the outgoing flights. Kadena AB and Andersen AFB did have the most flights going to Clark. There were occasional flights from Hickam and Yokota also.

Are there any Hops to the Philippines any of the islands
As of right now there are no flights to the Philippines. I’m still holding out hope though. If I hear something I will for sure be passing it on.

I have not heard anything about it. I’ve been waiting and listening though.

Is there a schedule for inbound flights to Clark Air Base?
