Honduras
Soto Cano Air Base – is located less than 10 mi (16 km) from Comayagua and 60 mi (97 km) from the Honduras capital, Tegucigalpa. It is commonly known as Palmerola AB and is a Honduran military base 5 mi (8.0 km) to the south of Comayagua in Honduras. The US government once used Palmerola as a base of operations to support their foreign policy objectives in the 1980s. Now it is used as a launching point for counterdrug missions in Central America as well as humanitarian aid missions throughout Honduras and Central America.

I’m trying to find a flight to Honduras also I’ve been there before I was stationed there back in 97 it’s a beautiful place. One of those places I would love to retire if it wasn’t so violent the third world
No flights are going anywhere right now. The e-mail to contact Honduras is on this site. Just go to the Honduras link and check out the information under “Space A Information”.
Would like to see the Flight list in Honduras I keep trying to look up their passenger terminal can you offer any help?
I don’t think they have an actual passenger terminal but their Space-A information, to the best of my knowledge, is on this page: https://ujspaceainfo.com/2014/02/soto-cano-ab-palmerola-ab-honduras/. They do not have a list of their flights so you would have to call to get any of that information.
Want to space A to Honduras, where would I find out the departures from the USA?
There is little to no Space-A Info available but you can try contacting the Public Affairs Office at: [email protected] for more information.
I believe that the only base that even occasionally flies to Honduras is Joint Base Charleston in South Carolina. If my sources are correct, they have a flight every 2-3 weeks. Seats available varies from 0 to 10T. You should contact them and/or check their schedule. I have sent them a message via their Facebook page asking how often they fly to Honduras but there is no telling when/if they will answer.
I got a response for the message I sent to Charleston about how often they fly to Honduras. The response: We tend to fly there quite often, at least 3 times a month, with ten seats almost always available.
Would like to take a hop to Honduras. Is there anyone out there who knows which base or base(s) hop to and from Honduras or Panama, which I do not see here on the list. Please advise.. tks
I’ve never been there or know anyone that has, but I’ll help you out with what I can. This website should give you a lot of information https://ujspaceainfo.com/honduras/and I have a link to a forum for it. https://www.facebook.com/groups/278353908952873/.
I’m thinking that Joint Base Charleston is the place to catch a flight there. You might want to contact them for information. https://www.facebook.com/JBCharlestonPassengerTerminalSC/. Or you can call them, their contact information is in the header of our forum: https://www.facebook.com/groups/270286459744002/.
I hope this is enough to get you the information that you need. If not, let me know and I’ll see about finding some more information.
