NAS Key West is on the island of Boca Chica, a few miles east of the island of Key West. The GPS POI file with the military bases is in error by several miles.
There is NO free long term parking at NAS Key West. Boca Chica does have a lot for long term storage and it’s chain fenced, so you can’t go into after hours. You have to pay monthly for it and can put cars on it. Reserve through the auto hobby shop. The estimated price is $20 – $25 a month.
There is a Thrifty RentaCar desk in the terminal.
All billeting for NAS Key West is done at NAS Key West Annex at Trumbo Point, on the island of Key West. The Gateway on Trumbo is clean and modern though parking is rather tight.
